Updated Bootable Tools CD

Again, many thanks for v.1.2, and now for the HowTo. It will be interesting to use the information, and your files as 'templates', to see what can be done. I assume that a program (diskette) that needs (or just wants, for some or no reason) to write to itself won't work on a CD-R -- nor on a CD-RW. Still, it will be fun experimenting.

I just happen to browse by and was in need for a bootable tools CD.

Just want to drop a few lines to say Thank You to Solaris. You've done a great job.

@solaris.....adding more items say for example the 4 dos floppies as ima files for acronis true image....how do you do that? I noted you used ram.sys for your 2 PM8 to create a 1.44 image.Any advice would be welcome.TIA

HI,

If the files are bigger than a floppy would hold, place them in a folder in the root of the CD. Create a duplicate of my NTFSDos boot diskette and modify it`s autoexec.bat file to point to the correct folder/application.
I did the menue, all works..but i have problems with BootDisks which are lager then 1 Disk..

So my BootCD looks like:

print a) Boot Acronis TrueImage 6 Deutsch Build 281 von CD
print b) Boot CIA Commander 1.0 Englisch von CD
print c) Boot PowerQuest DriveImage 2002 Deutsch von CD
print d) Boot EasyRecovery Pro 6.0 von CD
print e) Boot ECSK7S5A Hacked Bios (08-09-02 Cheepoman) von CD
print f) Boot EZ OS Install von CD
print g) Boot Ghost 2003 Deutsch von CD
print h) Boot Ghost 2003 Englisch von CD
print i) Boot Partition Magic 8 Deutsch von CD
print j) Boot NTFSDos Professional 4.0 von CD
print k) Boot NTFS Check 4.0 von CD
print l) Boot F-Prot von CD
print
print
print q) Quit to Command Prompt
print r) Reboot
print Esc) Boot first harddisk
..

I did the folders on cd (for cia commander cia.ima and the folder CIA, for....)

But .. in your manual you wrote change the path in the autoexec.bat from ntfsdos.ima .. when i look in the autoexec.bat the path is only for ntfsdos .. but you see.. trueimage needs 4 disks, driveimage needs 2 disks,.. ghost2003 german needs 2 disks.. so can you please help me ?..
