a cheap power supply will do if you arent planing on overclocking
or using to many usb devices and raid and no geforce 3 or 4

But he mentioned he has a lot of hardware installed... The 300W PS will surely be inadequate with all he got plus the Athlon and that's for sure... Even the Addtronics and Enermax supplies may have problems with any other devices added...

Well, if you can afford it buy one. I myself, cannot :D . Trylly now, a 350W PS is ok for you, you will not need a bigger one, but also a 300W PS is not a solution because you have many devices installed and the 300W is not sure it can handle them...

Ooops! Sorry, I didn't know that... Well, if you can find a 350W PS, then it's ok. Otherwise, try the 300W, but do not fully rely on it. I cannot say anything else. I didn't know you can't find there such a PS. BTW, none of the shops there doesn't have a 350??? Strange.

yeah that´s really strange ... real specialists should have something above 300--> 350 up to 550 !

using a 300 is enough ..but u will decrease the liftime of it ;) cause it´s permanent working at its limits ...

I live on a small island. So, i don't have the same technological facilities as u guys :(
There are no 350W-400W yet where i live. Most of the shops have 300W PSU.
I'll do some digging

Well, here in Greece they are late at CPUs and mainboards... :) Anyway, if you search, you may find what you want. But if you are not so lucky, then bear in mind that you should get a high quality 300W, because as is will work at it's limits, if the parts inside are made of good quality, it will last longer... I wish luck and success in buying what you really want buddy.
Sometimes the market is a trouble in here as well (and as you see, Greece is not any big country too, so technology here is not in any factor that we would be proud of). But a couple of expert and specific shops may get the latest technology improvements ;)

I'll have my sister buy one for me in england. (she's currently studying in england)
Anyone knows which model is available there???

You can find both Addtronics and Enermax power supplies there. At least sites with price in England shows this. But be careful with the warranty, because I don't know if it's International or Paneuropean (since you plan to buy it from another country).

Can i order online??? Do they offer delivery facilities??

@Joripe
Hey englishman, can u tell me where i can get a good 400W PSU in Manchester??

I wish I could help you, but I cannot. Except if you have any buddies in Greece. I can tell them where to buy and at a good price. I'm going to buy a HQ 300W PS today. It has AMD and INTEL factory approvals, support for P4, is really hweavy and it only costs 30 Euros!!! Exactly... The same price the crap PS cost... ;) So, if you know anyone in Greece, let me know to tell him where he can buy it...

Okayz, bought a new casing y'day. It came with a 300W PSU.
Voltages are within reasonable limits.
However, my athlon CPU is getting too hot (47C)
I have a casing fan, and a Coolermaster DP5-6H51 HSF.
Any recommendations??

Well, I believe that this is normal for your AMD. You can have the temperature in lower levels by using a better fan and coling systems installed to your case, but I don't think you should need them. The temperature is neither in high levels, nor at the lowest ones, so there is no need in spending more money in order to reduce it from the current levels. Just see how your system responds if you load too much applications that require CPU power.

:D No, don't migrate now, it's not the right season :D

PS: Happy burnings, downloads, work and effort with your new system. I wish I was in your position as I want to buy a newer one as well but I don't have the money right now :(
