Mainly due to the fact that OpenMG is a pile of shite. It uses tons of space in order to keep the RIAA happy, and as a result leaves mountains of stuff on your HD, taking up mountains of space. Besides which, the copyright protection is truly O.T.T. - you cant use a track any more than 2 - 3...

Its not just the cheapies now. My Plex which previously recorded CMC Ritek et al quite happily and at top speed too, now refuses to record virtually everything via NTI and CDMate takes and age (45 minutes !!!!) on pre-mastering but does not START burning. Nero just freezes,
