Sorry For the Double Posting on Software Discussion & troubleshooting.
Please Can anyone Help with a problem on XP professional ...
For some reason the XP welcome screen and the Fast User Switching
settings have been changed. So now i am presented with the classic
logon to windows box Before system boots to desktop and when trying to
switch user instead of the XP Presented options with a picture Icon
and user name of the 3 users (Fast User Switching) where you just click
on required account. I now get the Windows Classic Logon Box Where the
new users name has to be Typed into the box with the password option
before a change of user can be done .
I have tried a system restore but this did not sort problem.
I have tried control panel .. Account logon and options for Fast User
Switching and welcome screen are TICKED.
Gone into RUN - GPEDIT _ Accounts and checked all Password Expiry Values are
Set to ZERO......
HELP Any Ideas from all you experts...... Something Poss in the registry is
Corrupt But Where to Look First ????????
THANKS FOR ANY ADVISE ..... RATMAN
