Windows product FULL key retrieve utility

The ViewKeyXP that Swampy posted no longer works on any of my machines for some reason, it just crashes with a test1 module error. The Magic Jelly Bean Keyfinder works fine. Speaking about keys, when I slipstreamed SP1 to WinXP, I'm having a problem where the key when you run the GUI version of the WinXP installer will not accept the key but it will accept the key fine when you enter it with the CD bootup or if you boot dos and then run winnt.exe? Any ideas what's causing this? Thanks.

Almighty1 I to slipstreamed XP with sp1 but I was to lazy and used a free program....> flexbeta slipstreamer v1 had no problems what so every inputting my PD keys GUI version or otherwise...
Price of a blank cd might B worth giving this a shot but if you only got problems with the GUI side of things..... ;) http://www.flexbeta.net/main/comments.php?catid=1&id=3269
Still as to your question I've no idea what could B your problem at the moment.

Heh, maybe my slipstream somehow got corrupted since when I copied it over the network and tried to rebuild the ISO, the system BSOD because it had problems reading one of the files from the HD... Does FlexBeta Slipstreamer work well though? I need something to add in the post SP1 patches.

Put it this way my copy with extra's works AOK, also a copy I did for a friend with just the sp1 both of us have had no problems with our end product.
Note there are two builds if I'm right I had used the v1 series, series v2 beta is also very good by all accounts but not tested by mi...

This site http://www.msfn.org/unattended/xp/index.htm is one such site that gives you all the info you'll need you might also want to checkout Michael.K.H. Au-Yeun homepage too :D

PS:sorry for being rude... :( Welcome to our forum mitchcumstein :)

RASTABT - you're not being rude at all, thanks for the info :)

i do have a couple more questions for you- i've been trying to get this to work for about 5 days now, still with no luck. the cd is still looking for the unattend.txt in the A: drive. when I boot from the cd, it immediately prompts me to load the "Windows XP Service Pack 1 CD" into the A: drive. i've renamed the unattend.txt to winnt.sif and the unattend.bat to winnt.bat. i've tried just putting the winnt.sif into the I386 folder, then i tried it with the winnt.bat. i've edited the winnt.bat, because i've found some other people having the same problems on other forums and followed the directions they gave in editing the .bat file, but still no luck.
Can you answer some quick questions for me? You have SP1 slipstreamed on the cd, right? is yours a retail version?

i'm stumped, and really trying to figure this out. thanks for all your help!
