Coffee is good this morning. On Monday morning, before I left the reunion, I broke a tooth on a piece of bacon. A piece of the tooth fell off and the rest split in half. I have to find a dentist today. Wish I could just get it to fall out on it's own.

Woe is me. I just came back from the dentist. Tomorrow I have a consult with an oral surgeon. 5 teeth have to be pulled. I will look like a Jack o' Lantern!!

I am having anxiety attacks about this oral surgeon consult today. I am not biting my nails though!!
Yesterday was over 90 degrees and blasted uncomfortable outside. Anyone know why they call it the "Dog Days of Summer"? I don't like it this hot, but I know a lot of folks do.
I tried out my new cd burner yesterday. It seemed to work fine, but it didn't burn anything!

Hope U are well, dont worry about the dentist too much, U cant be as bad as me, i have a needle phobia so tend to only go when in pain
It been very hot & humid here as well, took me ages to drop of to sleep in the early hours : (
U got a new burner cool, did U install the software that came with the drive, if U are using XP U will have to disable the inbuilt cd engine as it usually conflicts with Ur burner software, this is how i do it, open up My Computer, right click on Ur burner & click properties & then the recording tab & untick "Use this drive for recording", apply it & ok out of it, then click on the start menu & then run & type services.msc, this will open up the services applet, scroll down the list till U find IMAPI CD Burning COM Service, right click on it & select properties, on the general tab, set the startup type to disabled & apply it & then reboot, Ur burner should then burn if U have installed the burner soft that came with it
Here are screenies of it, first is Ur burners properties
Next is the services.msc
& finally the properties for the IMAPI service that U have to disable

Thanks Banzi. I have XP pro on this. I also installed Ahead Nero. That's what I was trying to use because I thought I knew how! I printed out what you said to do for when I am ready to mess with it again.

Sometimes the Nero that is bundled with Ur burner will either be full or the cut down Nero Express (which is a bit more user friendly than the full nero interface)
But if U have any more probs, then U have loads of experts here at U beck & call

I have the full version. I haven't even looked to see what the program that came with the computer is like.

Today is tooth pulling day. The surgeon is going to take as many as I can tolerate at once. I'll be getting Nitrous Oxide for the first time in my life. I hope it is as funny as the "Laughing Gas" name! In a few short hours I will look like a true Arkansan!! Now all I have to do is marry a family member.
