Rebooting Problem!

Still, moving your soundcard to another PCI slot and swapping your Atapi drives is one of the easiest things you can do on your PC. The only thing you will need is a screwdriver. But of course you have the right to ask those guys who sold you the computer to set it up at your likings.

So I might give them a call back and tell them your suggestions and get them to fix it!
you paid for the PC, you have warranty, so this is the way to go; print out the arguments below:

1. you get BSODs wile burning; the BSODs blame your sound card driver; so it's strongly recommended to move the sound card from PCI slot 2 to PCI slot 1 or 5, then it won't share it's IRQ anymore;

2. all burner fabricators recommend to setup the burner as master and the DVD-ROM as slave, so this should be fixed in your system;

3. if these both drives are connected with a 80-wired cable, it should be swapped for a 40-wired IDE cable, because the ATAPI standard is still limited to 40-wired IDE cables;

4. Intel Application Accelerator should be uninstalled and MS standard drivers used instead, because IAA often causes problems while burning;
