I did it again, after deleting SWAP (Page File) under DOS (Win98SE) then booting into XP, no error happened.
No rescue disk, not using any kind of tool, just DOS from Win98SE and XP. (Both installed on the same partition with dual boot ability which XP have)
Windows system allow users to delete the swap file, or even take care of that by OS. Here is a link about turning this feature on...

If you encounter problems, maybe your IDE driver or M.B.'s BIOS have some compability issues...

I use both Ghost/PQDI series and both works fine.
Different purpose use different tool. I like Ghost and use often, but in some case,
if you want to "make sure" the image file is doing right, PQDI is better. Just because it has two "Verify" functions, one when making the image file, one after making the image file.
