URGENT HELP PLEASE..! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Maybe it's just me? I don't see any screenshots. I used Opera and Internet Exploiter to view the post. I think maybe the images might have to be reattatched.

That netgear uses and internal NAT/SPI firewall (quite close in philosophy to *nix iptables filtering), but since I don't have the router I can't comment. Usually the router firewall is accessed via your puter browser, and https (there's also a default password set from the router bios). Please consult the router manual, there must be adequate info in there.

Thanks For The Reply scarecrow..!

I Dont Understad The Puter Browser and https.! How Would I Access That More Info Please Please..! :)

Puter Browser = computer browser i.e. IE :D
https = hyper transfer protocol secure; this means the router configuration address has to start with https://, when you typing in the browsers adress field;

! How Would I Access That More Info Please Please..! :)
RTFM, surely all explained there;

What Do You Mean By RTFM
That is: Read The Freakin' (or something close to that) Manual.
The IP and port you have to use (I guess the router is acting like a DCHP server) is described in the manual- plus many more details, like port forwarding. Some routers use plain http:// , but most "serious" ones are accessed via https://

Ok..

Firstly The Manual Dont Have Anything Corresponding To That.
Secondly To Access My Router I Have To Use http:// IP ADDRESS (Gateway)

Yes The Router Has An DHCP So The Big ? Is How Do I Do It.! :)

They claim that they have a no-brainer companion for this router called "Smart Wizard" which sets the router within five minutes with everything set up... Personally I wouldn't use it, but...
Second, the default firmware 4.2.3 is borked for PPPoE connections, they have issued a bugfix (4.2.4)
Just go there and act.

Actually the latest firmware is v4.2.6_1.0.1 for the WGT624. ;) Great little wireless router for $40 (rebate). You just have to put up with some caveats of the Atheros 802.11g (easilly fixable).

Before you ask... I don't use the Block Sites mojo. But as scarecrow suggested, update the firmware. This might help. ;)

Ok..

But I Get Reboot Problem & DHCP Problems On The 4.2.6 Firmware. 4.24 Work's Great For Me.! The Smart Wizard Only Sets The Mac Addresses And Detects The Dynamic IP :)

I Want To Edit The NETGEAR FIREWALL PAGE As Shown Above.! :)

The reboot problem is common to all firmwares. I had it more on v4.23 and v4.24 firwares. It's a know issue with Atheros Wireless 802.11 SuperG. Much of it can be solved by turning off certain features... that make your device less secure anyways.

First off all... and this is a big one... once you upgrade your firmware... press and hold the hard reset button in the back, then unplug it for 5 minutes. Reboot your DSL/Cable Modem then your WGT624. Reconfigure all your settings and save them. This will go a long way in preventing those random reboots.

There are other setting to turn off... but I'm not at home for a few days... holidays you know. But will report them when I get back if your interested. Turning off DHCP is one... turning off advanced wireless features is another.

I went from reboots once an hour to... I can't remember the last time it rebooted... I'm at about 200 days without a single random reboot.

Flipping Heck That Is Good 200 Days.! WOW

But You Have Any Idea's On How To Edit The NETGEAR Firewall Page..!
