Thanks for the update. I.E. sucks that much? What do you recommend i use and where to get it?
Thanks again!
Yes IE sucks really. It has absolutly no features. Don't expect it to do anything. And also it is SO MUCH not secure! Look at
this site. It resume IE security failure.... Look at the graph:
13% of its security flaws are
EXTREMELY
29% are
HIGHLY
and 26% are
MODERATLY
For a total of ~70% of flaws are really critical!!!! All the attack have been from remote, so its not the "user's fault"....
IE is really risky!!
On the other hand, look at
Mozilla Firefox flaws. Indeed there isn't any! The 0.9.1 and early had a bug that could lead to local execution. You can see
here that this flaw was corrected in less than 24 hours (and here is v0.9.2)!!! Can you say this from IE? There is still plenty of known bugs/flaw in IE that aren't corrected!!!
I highly recommend using
Mozilla Firefox. This browser is REALLY nice! Mozilla products use the
Gecko engine to render page, which is the best. Fully standards-compliant, fast, secure, stable...
You can trust the quality of Mozilla's Open Source code. You can count on the support of the
community from hundreds of friendly users.
Firefox is highly customizable. You can get many extensions that will add features to it! It has unlimited power... Here is the official site for extensions:
http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox
You can get a
theme too!
In conclusion, I higly recommend using Firefox. You can try Netscape too, but there is no point in using netscape since it is based on Mozilla...
