And another browser update - Netscape 7.2

Why are they still releasing Netscape? And why also they are releasing Mozilla... Firefox is really great now. Netscape doesn't have its place anymore... Its just a copy of mozilla. without its advantages.

Yes IE sucks really. It has absolutly no features. Don't expect it to do anything. And also it is SO MUCH not secure! Look at this site. It resume IE security failure.... Look at the graph:
13% of its security flaws are EXTREMELY
29% are HIGHLY
and 26% are MODERATLY
For a total of ~70% of flaws are really critical!!!! All the attack have been from remote, so its not the "user's fault"....

IE is really risky!!

On the other hand, look at Mozilla Firefox flaws. Indeed there isn't any! The 0.9.1 and early had a bug that could lead to local execution. You can see here that this flaw was corrected in less than 24 hours (and here is v0.9.2)!!! Can you say this from IE? There is still plenty of known bugs/flaw in IE that aren't corrected!!!

I highly recommend using Mozilla Firefox. This browser is REALLY nice! Mozilla products use the Gecko engine to render page, which is the best. Fully standards-compliant, fast, secure, stable...
You can trust the quality of Mozilla's Open Source code. You can count on the support of the community from hundreds of friendly users.
Firefox is highly customizable. You can get many extensions that will add features to it! It has unlimited power... Here is the official site for extensions: http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=firefox
You can get a theme too!

In conclusion, I higly recommend using Firefox. You can try Netscape too, but there is no point in using netscape since it is based on Mozilla...

Mozilla Firefox

is htere anything special that i have to do in order to change my browser. Like save any files,,,stuff like that!

Thanks!

You are using IE actually?

The only thing you could want to use with Firefox (FF) is your IE favorites. You can merge them using this great tool: BookmarkBridge (Open Source too)
It let you merge the favorites/bookmarks from Opera, Netscape, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, and maybe others too.

If you were using IE, then there isn't much you can "backup" since you won't be able to uninstall it!!! Thats Microsoft way to force you use it... IE is still important to keep so you can browse WindowsUpdate (which only works in IE).

Thats the only thing you need!

thanks for the great knowledge guys. Love the site!
And set FireFox as your default brower if you still have IE installed.
Just a note while your at it download shockwave/flash media play for Firefox.Still if theres an image to which you can not view once Fire Fox is installed it will aid you to download that plugin any way...Enjoy your browsing... :)

IMHO,one of the most useful plugins is Tabbrowser Preferences......especially if you wanna unlock Firefox' full "tab" potential......without this plugin,I'm lost...:D

PS:
a tip for new Firefox users:
you can customise some plugins to your needs by opening tools-->extensions-->select the plugin and rightclick it ;)
