ACER upgraded to 1.07 firmware now i cant burn princo blanks ?

If i were U like i said I would buy the same one and replace it in the box saying it dont work on my PC, basically it dont DETECT on my pc..bla bla.. im tellin U i did it about well many times I DID it on many things.. works every time...

unless u wanna downgrade and waist more discs and all that crap...

i alrdy tryied downgrading no luck ...i bought this bunrer last week do you reckon they will refund it ?

what do you mean there is nothing wrong with it it wont burn any blank dvds that ive tried ? and other people have said that PRINCOS work on their 1.07 pioneers so i came to the conclusion that probably no dvds will work on it

I never said fuji me and other in this post and all over the forum say RITEK.
Let me know how you make out with them. If your not in the US look around the forum for places to buy in other countrys. Good luck.

well odds are that they probably wont work firstly someone replied and said they had used PRINCOS on 107 firmware.FUJI is apparently pioneer friendly and i also tried shintaro but u said they are princo and they all didnt work (also i read on a site that princo work with 107) so i am not too sure but i will still try RITEK... dont get me wrong i appreciate your help but atm i think it is the writer and no the blanks

How can you say that if my 104 does the same thing with dvd-rw? Also have you read how much princo are junk that some retailers sell them as is? They sell them that way because you can buy some and they all work and the next batch there all coasters.:cool: I'll say this PRINCO SUCK!!! :D

you have probably learned a very valuable lesson....

Do not fix if it is working ok unless you do not mind buying replacement drives....

Was your drive burning DVDs before you flashed it???

If so then you will be best to put it down to experience and get your self another DVD burner and do not flash it unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing......

Not quite sure... you tried downgrading, no luck?
Did it downgrade firmware, but not improve (which these won't help) or was the attempt unsuccessful (which these should be the answer to)

well actually i just told my dad that the burner stopepd working by itself and he called the company and said that there was something wrong. so they sent me out a new one and this one is working fine luckily for me...:)
