warning about ZAP 3.xx
Note that version 3 (in my experience up to 3.0.091) is very!! unstable on winxp. Causes other applications to crash upon reboots consequent to its installation and oddly enough my Nvidia video drivers to lock up and crash my computer. I had to remove every trace of it from my registry before things went back to being neat normal. I don't know how it is under 9x systems but if you run ZP/2K you most likely want to avoid ver 3.xx

Anyway, I've been running version 091 on Win9X systems. It's better than 081, but still troubles with the cookie and Ads feature, which battles with IE settings and doesn't llet pages with JScript display correctly.
On XP I'm using Outpost Firewall, though I like the most how ZA displays things.
Oh, you may use this serial and see whether it works (I used it with version 2 of ZA then updated and the serial still worked):
