Hello all
A friend of mine has just installed XP SP1 Build 1068
after changing his PID Key from the famous one.
Before applying the update but after changing the
PID Key he went on the Microsoft Update site
and Updated no problem..
After installing SP1 1068 there were so nasty bits
installed along with the SP1 files 3 of the bits he
managed to find were a new folder in the C Drive
1 = Idwlog with some interesting contents In C Drive
2 = A planted cookie containing Info
3 = An ldwlog.exe Installed into the Startup Folder
Plus How much More Hidden.. Any Help to
clean to be safe from big brother...
he does not want to try an MS update site Visit
until HELP arrives reguarding the hidden Info
that has been collected In the Idwlog Files
Thanks for any Input
