XP Keyboard Shortcut help

I'm not sure of the question. If you want to see your display settings ,just right click with your mouse.Do this in your desktop and display options/setting will be available.

Do you want to display the properties of a folder, icon or program that you have highlighted without right clicking it?

The keyboard shortcut to do this is (ALT + Enter) but I don’t personally think it is much quicker.
The folder, icon or program still has to be highlighted first with a left mouse click

:)

Yes I was just wanting the keyboard way of getting to display properties instead of right clicking on the desktop to get to it. No big deal, really. I just thought there is a shortcut for all of Windows functions but maybe I'm wrong.

I'm glad you mentioned that because I was wondering that, also. If you still have to highlight the icon or folder using the mouse then you're right. It really doesn't work any faster to use the keyboard.

Thanks for the info anyway.

Here are some good pages for keyboard shortcuts in Windows.

My favorite:

These are getting a little old (WinME is the last OS listed), but most of them work just fine in XP:
