Like i said my comp dosnt wasnt to boot.it goes all the way when XP is loading after that i see a blue sreen for bout .1 sec then restart.if i try to go in safe mode it restarts as well  :( plz help me.

Even safemode is blue-screening you??

Then youre very not lucky...:p XP doesn't "easily" blue-screen... at least its the most stable windows (IMO)...

Have you installed newly drivers recently?? Or programs? Blue screens appens, most of the time, because of a driver issue...

ok i played with it and found out the this file is missing or corrupt

<windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

how do i re-install it? and where do i get it?

this isnt XP's kernel?? If its corrupted, youll need to reinstall windows... or repair it (dunno how)
Maybe a virus could have done something like this...

this is part of the xp boot logo you can modify it apparently to have a different logo :)

also its attacked and removed by the FUNLOVE.4099 virus :(

you can get a cleaner tool here http://www.vaksin.com/virusnews/2002/funlove.htm

it also replaces the missing ntoskrnl.exe file :)

The removal tool, Cleanflc.exe, is designed to safely disable the W32.Funlove.4099 (Funlove) service under Windows NT. The tool also restores the Ntoskrnl.exe and Ntldr.exe files that are modified by the virus.
Cleanflc.exe must be run from a write-protected floppy disk, and it must be run with administrator rights.
Cleanflc.exe does the following:
Disables the FLC (viral) service.
Deletes the Flcss.exe file that the virus drops.
Restores Ntoskrnl.exe and Ntldr.exe. (W32.Funlove.4099 modifies these files to gain administrator rights to the system.)
Inoculates the system to prevent W32.Funlove.4099 reinfection after restarting the computer. (You must restart the system to complete the repair.)
How to use
To use the Cleanflc.exe file, follow these steps :
Download the tool to a virus-free computer from this location.
Save the Cleanflc.exe file to a floppy disk, and then write-protect the floppy disk to prevent it from becoming infected with FunLove.
Insert the floppy disk into the floppy disk drive of the infected computer.
Using Windows Explorer, browse to the floppy disk, and then double-click Cleanflc.exe.
Allow the tool to run, and then remove the floppy disk from the drive.
worth a try :)

it would do that if i could go in my comp and do the things you said
At least TRY to do the above, which are pretty comprehensive.
If you can't, then either pray, or pay a technician to do the job for you... And watch him closely, so you won't need to pay again the next time you encounter such problems.
ntoskrnl.exe failure messages sometimes popup even if the actual file is not really corrupt or missing.

this also maybe an issue with memory faults what memory do you have in your system !?

and can you check by borrowing some more !?

and you could also check it with memtest86 from here http://www.memtest86.com/ :)

make a dos boot disk with it and set bios to boot floppy 1st and test your memory if it shows errors then try some different memory or remove one stick if you have more than one ?!

i think viper 1069 hit the nail on the head with his/her virus theory.

i had the same problem with a friends machine, albeit winme and i think one of the klez worms. we got around it by whipping out his hdd (ooo er!) and putting it in my machine (making sure my virus software was updated).

you need to ensure that the friends machine has a virus definition to cope with the funlove virus. there is a risk that you could end up with two infected machines. if you do it, slave your drive to his and run virus software on boot.

have you got a friend who will let you put your hard drive in his box? (pun intended)

good luck
