XP-again??

Now i got one partion for all things except music and video which is a second partion....For first partion isit it ok if i check that ""compress frive to save space>>>>>Can i get some space savvings??>??Also,i guess its not good for audio-video--rigfht???

I wouldn't recomend compressin the drive, the performance hit isn't worth the space savings:)

HD's are pretty cheap the now, why not just get a new drive, givin U way more space:)

zver, don't know @ canada (eh), but here in the states at Staples you can get a 160gb maxtor 7200rpm 8mb cache for $99 after $80 rebate...

Sofar dont need another drive--this one is 80 gb--enoughf for now--i was more being curius!!!But can somebody answer on my onether one from other thread--my favorites are on my backup cd--when try to import them in ie6--says that i need admin rights??Where to change that??

Logoff then logon as administrator. If you forgot your admin password when you setup XP, you need a Linux NT password recovery utility (free) or Winternals software (about $300) to change it to something you know. I am just amazed you can install sw or do very much at all without having administrative rights on your own machine!

Funny thing is never asked me that...I always install all my software, format hd,even installed ftp server--and today first time i got asked...Thanks a lot bud--it worked ok!!:)
