Wireless Networking Problem

Hi Guys,

I have an MSI Mobo see System1 and an D-Link wireless PCI Card (DWL G520).
Now to my problem, both parts don't seem to like each other to much.
I had to dissable onborad USB support to avoid system hangs and instant reboots and it is still giving me some trouble, mouse now and then jerking screen flickering system slowdowns.
can anyone help me?
maybe a different card or usb wireless with at least 54mb using the D-Link DI-624 router.

Thanks Poco81

i have only some general hints for you:
- try the latest chipset drivers
- try the latest wireless PCI Card drivers
- try an other PCI slot for the card

@Duracell

latest drivers, for both the chip and card. tried two slots no difference.

Going to try this card in my other system (no USB 2 onbord) and use its card (D-Link DWL G-520+)in this one to see if it will work.

Thanks Poco81

@ bionic
Here is some thing I picked fron the link you posted.

from funchords

Here's something to try:

1. Go to Device Manager and remove the mouse, usb controllers
2. Use Ctrl-Esc to bring up the Start menu, then cursor controls to shutdown
3. Reboot the computer, bring up the BIOS settings
4. Use the BIOS option to reset PNP (allows the OS to reassign)
5. Save and Exit BIOS setup
6. When the system boots up, it will reinstall these devices using the drivers that were on the system (no disks required). Hopefully, it will juggle the IRQ/IO Ports and avoid the conflict you are having.
And I did along with all the latest drivers. now its running fine
Feel free to pass it along to who ever has the same problems.

thanks Poco81:)
