WinXP update & corp version

I have Win Pro corp version as per dxkim. I have been updating manually as recommended in his thread where over 100 replies have been recorded. I now go to h**p://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp?corporate=true , & Microsoft wants "New Windows Software Update required".
I am concerned as I use Devil's Own serial with my corp WinXP Pro. If I update, will WinXP still work?

At this moment if you dare to try, maybe it continues working. After SP1 is released it will be a really bad idea. You don't need the updates. If it works fine why try to improve it and instead you end up with a unstable system. Just follow the slogan of this forum:

you can go straight from the windows update shortcut from your start menu (as long as you are not using the cd key that came with your copy of winXP corp *plenty of them out there).
Also be selective in what you update from the site.
Look at those critical updates very carefully. Most of those I don't install (especially the ones that communicate with msn incase of errors & such *eg: remote assistant <-- who the hell needs that crap).
You should be fine for the most part then.
