WinXP starts w/ blank screen...

Help me out guys: just installed WinXP in a new FAT32 partition created by System Commander (the other partition's OS is WinME). No problems until XP started for the 1st time: the screen gets BLANK !!! It seems XP started fine, but cannot see a thing !
What the he** is hapenning ?

Did you try to reboot in safe mode?

Yep ! Serious problem w/ display driver...It won't accept nvidia official release for my Asus 7100-TV.
Trying unofficial...

Just for information: the prblem was the "refresh rate". After installing XP the system "assumes" 60 Hz. There is a little program that changes this value in the registry to 85 Hz. Then, it's just restart...and have fun !!!
P.S.: only for certin monitors (Sony CPD100SF, my case)
