I just added a PlexWriter 40x12x40x to my system which also included a PlexWriter 12x4x32x SCSI & a Pioneer 12x DVD-ROM.
Previously I have posted that I use WinOnCD 3.8, & enjoy the features for burning CD's to LP's.
Today I went to update the drivers for WinOnCD 3.8 so that it recognizes my PlexWriter 40x12x40x. WinOnCD 3.8 now recognizes this burner, but will only allow me to record a CDR at 20x.
I would like to to write at 32x or 40x? I am using blank 32x verbatim cdr's.
Or do I have to take the plunge to WinOnCD 5.0? Should I use another program such as PlexTools or NTI CD for data and audio & only use WinOnCD 3.8 for burning CD's to LP's? If so which program is compatible with my installed programs WinOnCD 3.8, Veritas DLA, Clone CD, Clony, CDRWIN 3.8, ISO Buster & EAC? Would NTI CD be compatible? So far all the above installed works fine together. I do not have PlexTools installed.
I have resisted going to WinOnCD 5.0 as I see no good recommendations about this program on this site.
Thanks
