Yes, do as ChiMusic suggests...there are sometimes problems with updates. Also, this sometimes happens when the M$ Updates server is overloaded...they just released a few patches for XP (Microsoft JavaVM holes) this week and they are fairly large. Have you tried again a day or two later?

However...this version of WinXP is legal and activated, right?!

i try to disable antivirus, it doesn't work.

How can i know my xp in activated

cause i install xp pro by using valid key (from crack software generate )
so i can upgrade to sp1
but now actually about 2 week i can't download to install

anymore solutions

thanks for helping me

Seems my suspicions may have been true ;)

The only way to legally not activate XP Pro is have an OEM key or Corporate key. You would know if you activated bud, as it's a 5 minute part of XP installation.

A "cracked software generate" is NOT a valid key my friend.

So it's possible that Windows has caught you red handed with an invalid key and has stopped you cold...that is if this continues to happen. ;)

The solution buy a valid XP key. Anything more than that, we can't help you with bud...we are non warez here now.

new

That 11/15 installer is the problem. Maybe they have a NEWER one.

I had to open the firewall after the installer was loaded/reboot.

Then again I had the update START UP files for WORKS/WORK and that is involved somehow. All legit.

In the past the anti virus HAD to be disabled to install many updates. It even TOLD you on a pop up.
