Windows XP SP1 vs Sonic Foundry: Is there a problem

After the installation of Windows Service Pack 1 v 1086 or 1089 (Beta), I noticed that Acid Pro 3.0g and Sound Forge 6 would start and would after a couple of seconds either of them would freeze my system. I have to press the rest button to reboot. Are there any known compatibility problems between XP Service Pack 1 (1086/9) and Sonic Foundry Products. I last worked with both Acid and Sound Forge under XP Service Pack 1 build 1073 and everything was fine. Any suggestions for solving the problem?

I am not currently running sp1, but one thing you may try is to reload your apps. Sometimes they change system files, and a sp will load updates that break the app....
