Alright all,

I have a small probem with my Windowns Explorer when i open any of the folders that that are protected ones like program files winnt folder and you normaly get that thing down the side saying "these are procted bla bla bla Show all "

i dont have that bit at the side to click to show the files in the folder its just a blank screen saying in the addy bar C:\WINNT and no folders or any thing

I think this is controlled by the hidden file folder.htt. have you maybe deleted it? if you find it in one of the folders, you can copy it into any other folder. I don't have winnt, only win98, and besides it's in german, so can't help you. but if you don't have this file any longer, maybe somebody else can give it to you
