WinAVI video converter problem

Hey all,
i'm trying to use winavi video converter 7.0 to convert my avi's to dvd. When i try to begin the encoding process, i get a "internet explorer error" saying that it needs to close. I'm i missing some codecs and which codecs should i install.

thanks for the reply. I did search the site for info and did find some, but i felt that i needed more info.

Hi anaconda

The Film Machine comes highly recommended, it takes care of the encoding (when used with CCE or similar), authoring and even burning all in one go.

Also, DVD2SVCD (encodes to DVD formatl) is an excellent tool.
Chicken Man has an excellent tutorial here at the forum.
