I have Win 2K SP4 and now the PC does not recognize the Jaz 2G drive . Gives FAT32 non read error and wants to scandisk or diskcheck at every bootup and yet fails to execute the disccheck thus hanging.

Any workarounds such as ways to convert FAT files to NTFS so it is recognized by the CPU, workarounds, patches?

Nah, just install the latest JAZ drivers you can find. Win2000 reads FAT32 natively without any problems.

Tried putting latest Jaz drivers and contacted the Iomega support people (they were of no help other than to find another computer to do the transfer of files). Still doesn't work.
