i recently instaled this and my download speeds have decreased dramaticly

what can be done?

Is MS proxy server activated?
Also- do you use ordinary MS tcp/ip drivers, or some third party ones? (e.g. RASPPPOE or CFOS).

and no proxy server

Please try pinging your puter from another machine (not LAN), and post the output.
Also, it would be nice to know which servers you are running- including DHCP server.

im runing apache and mysql, no dhcp or dns

all these services are stoped
