zver..I know how..but I wouldn`t advise doing it.Microsoft has reserved this bandwidth for a reason...
Okay then,on your own head be it....
Log in as Administrator, not just somebody with administrative privileges.
Run gpedit.msc
Go to Computer Policy>Administrative Templates>Network>QOS Packet Scheduler
When you get to QOS Packet Scheduler double click on the right hand pane which is entitled "Limit reservable bandwidth".On the setting tab check "enable".
Change "Bandwidth Limit %" to 0 (zero) then click OK then exit Gpedit.msc.Then go:Start>My Computer>My Network Connections>View Network Connections..then right click on your connection and select properties and make sure QOS Packet Scheduler is enabled..And that`s how to do it in Win XP Professional.
But then go here to find out that what you`ve done is wrong...

and not forgetting here...

(This one`s for Windows 2000,i know, but still quite relevant..)

Thanks, bionic. Some interesting points there, especially if you use WMP.(and also progs like Real Player,by any chance?) Dunno anyone who uses NetMeeting though.Somebody somewhere must do.. :D
Confirms what I was saying though.Changing the percentage of "reserved bandwidth" for QOS seems to make not one iota of difference.I just leave it "as is" and leave the service on 'autopilot'... :)
