Since going 1mb broadband I am now downloading quite a few movie files, most of which are in svcd format and come in three parts. My vcd player will not recognise svcd so I have to do lots of converting before I can play them. What is the best software for splitting and joining parts. I need the first half of part 2 to adjoin to part 1 and the latter half of part 2 to join to part 3 so I end up with 2 vcd files. I have tried wombles but it seems very unpredictable at times and loses audio synch in an eratic manner.

Thats what Im using but Im having a bit of confusion here. I have to split part 2 into twp parts and then join these parts to part 1 and part 3 so I end up with 2 vcd files. The end product vcd files are much smaller than the original svcd files so why use 3 disks when they will record onto 2.
