Where does WinXP's SNMP keep logfiles?

Does anyone happen to know where WinXP keeps the SNMP logfiles since I think mines are growing into some large size as snmp.exe while running in the background will cause the system to run out of resources after 10+ hours. In Unix, snmp agents all keep logfiles somewhere and they do get big as it's kept so other machines can query it for information.

Also, anyone happen to have a %systemroot%\system32\acsmib.dll file on a WinXP system they can send over?

i don't use xp, but you can try using filemon from h**p://www.sysinternals.com/ with inculde: snmp to look what the snmp.exe application writes and reads. just let it run some time and you will see what if it writes a log file.
normally windows services log everything to the event viewer --> system

That's the problem... event viewer doesn't show anything... Except that acsmib.dll is not found or configured on the system and none of my other systems have it.

Hmmm, not sure about that one but the weird thing on that acsmib.dll is that WinXP adds that to the registry as %systemroot%\system32\acsmib.dll but WinXP doesn't come with that file. Win2k comes with that file but I've never had win2k on any of the machines before.
