I formatted my computer last night and before i formatted it i tried out a few new updates and a few new appz.
I tried Nero 5.5.8.1 and after installation it turned into Nero Express...what is this crap?
Then i tried burning a cd (DATA cd) and that got to 4% and then my computer crashed..i know for a fact that this was causes by nero because my computer has never crashed (im using win2k pro).
So now after formatting my computer im back to nero v5.5.6.4 which works without any problems. When are those boys at Ahead gonner learn how to program?
I also tried out the new Zonealarm v3.0 and was very impressed with that...a nice featured packed firewall (previosuly i was using v2.7).
The best update to date has to be Sonic Foundry Sound Forge v6.0. The speed has increased a hell of alot. takes me now 1/3 of the time it use to in version 5.0. Im very impressed with this. There is one thing which still worries me and that is teh background rendering. Im not really with the idea that u can work on 2 files at the same time. If im adding an effect to one file whilst opening another .wav file, surely that would cause errors?????
I mean the hdd cant do that much at once, let me know your views on this new feature.
