These rules seem to not be quite straight forward..Some mod"s won"t even let you talk about a Crack without getting after you.and some(well one that I saw) will post an internal link to were a Crack or ware is still posted.Or let you even talk about a program that is Cracked, and some mods are saying that there are links Just not live ones..and some say No Links at all But some say Links to Freeware are Ok...So I think the Mods should get together and figure out what the rules really are then let us know so We know what We can say and were we can say it...Cheers

no warez bla renders this forum almost useless. there are dozens of those on the web: boring, dull and uninformative. save your time and buy some cans of beer with the donated money (good trick getting users´ money btw) and that´s it.
now, i´m really glad i didn´t donate, cause´ i´d feel really cheated by you. so it´s only a bitter grin.....

I am new here, I see some changes happening, but I must say that I like the place. To sue someone because you have donated him money and he did not offer you stolen stuff is not a very bright idea, is it?
To each one his own. The web is full of good warez places, and also good infomative places. This is to become an informative one, and people wanting warez should look else. It sounds simple to me, and i do not see any reason to complain.

We are going back to our roots in a way, the info on this forum is like a goldmine. And no, I don't mean warez stuff as you can get all that stuff almost anywhere. As I said in the post above, if you want something try a Google search as 9 times out of 10 you will find what you are looking for.

i don´t sue cc (or tell sb to do so) cause´ this is obviously not worldcom.
but that´s only the formal view.
the point is that some of the donators could feel deceived for giving money under the wrong (implicit) promises: continuing this forum as is (that is including warez) !!!
of course that´s only a question of good or bad attitude towards people trusting in your words.

this is NOT going back to roots, this is self castration and amputation. might be that this forum had a different origin and purpose. this forum bacame big and famous not in spite or not even with but BECAUSE of warez. it´s like killing someone and saying, what do you want, the body is still there and if you wanna talk to someone there are billions of people left.

warez or no warez this site is still cool, and i suppose the mods are right when they say "u can get them anywhere" (well almost lol), but at the same time I do think it is a bit unfair on the ones who donated recently, but i'm sure the mods didnt intend to cheat anybody and that they will use the money for the forum. jkat

I would imagine any money donated will pay for costs already mounting up for all the recent downloading.
If anyone thinks this forum is now useless etc, then these are the people we can do without.

I don't recall N.B. or any moderator saying that. What I recall being said was that there would be no more <b>posting</b> of warez, i.e., no cracks, keygens, and other warez attached to the posts. I don't think anyone that can make the decision has said that there would be no posting of non-live links, or telling people what forum or site they could find what they were looking for. I think this is the Beginning of the End,3 months maybe??I figure if you can"t make enough money with werez and cracks then takeing them away definately isn"t going to make the Dollars roll in....But Might make the Members go away to were they can have a forum were the mere mention of a ware doesn"t get you executed...Like Maybe "Double you"Double You" Double You" Dot Giveit2me43 Dot Com.......

Accept that there is no freeware or shareware here...It"s a NoWare site now...Just like every other information site...I think if the site was better managed before like removeing old cracks Posted over and over again and programs that are freeware or totally out dated, if these things were cleaned up then maybe there would have been more room and Money to help keep the old format alive.....No Use talking about it now Cuz It don"t change anything....Cheers
