[vmware] start X automatically

I've installed redhat on vmware, but i can't get X to start automatically...
XConfigurator doesn't work coz it won't detect the display card.
I've got vmware tools installed, but x doesn't load @ startup.

N1 knows y??

can you start X manually using the "startx" command ? if not what error does it return ?

Can startx manually.
but i want it to start automatically.
Which file do i need to modify???

Use 'linuxconf' or...

Use linuxconf nice configuration tool for linux or goto to the /etc and edit inittab script
