video file glitches....

i have some video files that glitches alot on me....some do and some dont.... is there a codec that i need to correct that??..or is it just the video file itself that is messed up??..

Arr... what sort of Video files are you talking about, avi/mpeg/etc ? What actual versions of codec have you currently installed and what player have you been using? Try a different player.

well sometimes it varies for me....but the files it usuall happens to r avi, ogm, and some mpg files....i have ffdshow and ogg codecs installed....i tried playing it in divx and windows media player both still glitches....i also got quicktime, realone, and windvd but it cant play in those players....

If WMP plays them with glichs and WinDVD cant play them, then I suggest the avi & mpegs are stuffed in the first place. Thats the problem with many downloaded files.
