Video Editing

Im looking for a good program that I can Edit Video with,
Persay a home video, That I want to change the background in
add some highlights to make it flashier. maybe chang the audio.

Have any Ideas tried video wave and ulead they suck.

Pinnacle Studio 8 or Vegas Video are good (Vegas is expensive, Pinnacle is not).

If you did audio-editing before..then go with vegas--same gyi(almost),as soundforge

I found a place to download pinnacle expressions, 700MB
though. I have dialup. wooo that might take awhile.
