VCDEasy fails me too!

Been reading the other thread VCDEasy fails me http://forum.cdrsoft.cc/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17681

and I have a similar problem except that I get a burning error - VCDEasy just won't write onto the CD.

I have ASPI 4.60 and the software recognises my CD recorder...

Any ideas?

I assumed your installed your Burner into VCDEasy okay and the tick box for Burn is highlighted?

I've made sure that the CDRDAO drivers are set up correctly (_http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html) for my burner, and also increased the buffer setting to 128.

Hopefully this will help, I'll report back when I do the next burn.

I would also check your ASPI layer, even though you say you have 4.60installed, many programs can overwrite them. Or just re-install them again, re-boot and check.

I've done everything you've suggested Chickenman (oh guru) but still no joy.

I'm convinced it's my ancient burning machine that dislikes burning a full 80min CD

Yep looks like time to upgrade then, the LiteOn's are very cheap and very good (and do work with VCDEasy as I have one!).
