vcd problem

i have a svcd that plays fine with datavideo video disk player that is on the disk

but if i try opening the file with any other video player it crashes

What exactly does any other cover? Have you tried mplayer? VLC? Or Media Player Classic?

hmmmmmm are you 100% sure its SVCD ? have u tried extracting the mpeg2 with iso buster and then trying to play ?!
