VCD Help needed

ok ive been trying to do Rush hour 2

and the problem is I dont get the subtitles to come up when they talk in chinese.

ive ripped it with dvddecryptor 2.4 & 3 also smartripper
and used dvd3avi & flask

anyone managed to do this?

I havent ripped that one, but dont bother with DVD2AVI, it cant handle subs.

Can you play the DVD on a DVD Player and get the English subs when Chinese spoken? Try English or Chinese subs. Whatever finally works, run FlaskMPEG, load in the IFO file and then select the subs that worked on the DVD player.

when i play it in my dvd player its fine
no need to select any subs they are just part of the movie

with flask i can get english subs though the whole movie which i dont really want

also came across another movie that does this - delta force

There was a DVD a while back (cant remember its name) but if the language being spoken was, say, spanish, I had to select Spanish subs but English appeared in the Spanish spoken bits only. Have a go at selecting Chinese subs then.
