Vcd format 2 dvd format for ps2

I was wondering since ps2 doesn't play vcds is it possible to make/emu dvd files/dirs with some program?

hmm... I don´t think that there r VCD DVD emus ... besides VCDs r MPEG1 and DVDs r MPEG2 ...
so u can´t just rename or change directories ... it needs more work to convert VCDs to DVD...

maybe there r other possibilities to play vcds on ps2... like a program that converts MPEG 1 (VCD) to something PS2 can open...

I saw something about minidvds/svcds on vcdhelp and they are mpeg2 but i need to be sure they work becouse i'm running out of discs.

yep ..they r svcd ...but their resolution isn´t DVD conform... so better read the tutorial @ doom9
