Urgent: Need help installing NERO

Hi...I am new to the forum but I need your help installing nero. After decompressing the setup file (5590 or 5599) the program tells me that the file is corrupt and installation stops. I tried several times and once i managed to install but towards the end the prgam again told me that the setup is incomplete. The files are in the drive though. Pls can anyone help me rectify this?

Thanks...i am downloading the EXE file from the FTP site you gave me, hope this works...i believe i encountered this problem last time when it was with earlier versions...but i really couldnt remember how it eventually worked.

just a thought but wuddnt it be a good idea to also delete any ahead/nero registry keys as well?.... or does it get far enuf with the install to actually place any keys in the reg

there is no trace of any ahead folder in my program files folder..but it still didnt work..where do i go from here?

Hi..thanks for all your help....But it just didnt work. I tried using the bundled software 5592 that came with my Iomega writer and it was ok...however, when I tried installing the InCD that came with it, it was again corrupted...does 5599 incorporates InCD into the software?Maybe thats why its corrupted??

check your system for any Adaptec (Roxio) easy cd creater most of all Direct CD this piece of software is bullshit try to uninstall it first before proceeding with installing Nero because installing nero should't be a problem!
