Trying to copy game CD (WC3)

I got this far at another site, no response after this. After reading several forums found link to here. I hope you guys can help me out here. Here is the story.

Open CloneCD ( version 2.7.8.1 )

1. Click - File > Copy CD

2. Read-Tab
a) Select CD-Reader
b) Check all 5 boxes

3. Image File-Tab
a) Check - Delete after a successfull Write

4. Write - Tab
a) Select CD-Writer
b) Write Mode [RAW SAO+SUB]
c) Check these boxes - <Wait until buffers are full><Always close last session>

5. Click - Disc to Disc Icon (Start Disc Copy)

6. Complete the project. Do Not Run any other applications while burning

Did good until I got to part 4 section b. I have no options for [RAW SAO+SUB] all I have is [RAW DAO] .
My burner is a Sony CD-RW CRX140E is this the problem ? if so is there a way around it short of installing a new burner ?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

According to clones site the best mode for your writer is DAO any way. What are you trying to backup and also why use version 2.7.8.1 newer versions are out and much better.

I am trying to back up Warcraft III. the reason for version 2.7.8.1 is that it was recomended at another forum. I have a version 4 (I think) that I downloaded. The other forum recommended using the older version. I just don't know what to do or how to do it. I have the original game CD I just don't want my son taking it away tp friends as they always have a tendancy of getting lost. If you or someone here could help I would be greatful. When I posted my results at the other forum I got no response as to what I might have done wrong or what I should try next. I began reading and found a link to here so I thought I would give it a try and ask for help. I'm in over my head and need help.

Doh! didnt read your original post correctly sorry m8.Warcraft 3 has one of the new types of Securerom protection which is proving hard to crack.In your case your burner doesnt help so an upgrade could be your best option.Do a forum search for WC3 and securerom for more info.

Warcraft 3 is protected with SecuROM 4.68.00.4683

Yours writer can copy this protection: use CloneCD 4 (Subchannels management improved) and copy the game with
these settings:

reading:
read speed 4x
read subchannels data from data tracks YES
regenerate data sectors YES
all others deactivated

writing:
only always close last session

remember that you can play the copy of the game from the CRX140E only with "hide cdr media" options activated!
