Tray won't close

After cleaning the lens, I cannot get the tray to close.

The tray tries to close but hits the hub??? It seems out of sync.

How do I know where to set the laser after taking it out?? There is a red mark on the laser assembly...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might as well say goodbye to it then, as alcohol is OK for glass lasers (not used anymore, AFAIK) but a no-no for plastic laser lenses. Pure isopropyl alcohol is better, but still not recommended. Touching the lens with ANYTHING is also not commendable, as it will probably get misaligned.
Anyway a non-closing tray is a different issue... are you sure you have screwed everything back as before, and the tray mechanism didn't got derailed while you were mounting back the enclosure?

I managed to get it to close. I held a little white part that raises the laser tray and now everything is working properly.

A backup I just burned still doesn't work, though. ???

I tried both DD, and RNM for The Incredibles. It freezes while loading the scene.
