Transfuring Software from one partition to anouther?

How do I transfur all of my software from one partition to anouther? I swiching from Windows Server 2k3 to Windows XP Pro. I tryed to drag and drop the files but when i went to run registerd programs they all ask for the key that I got for them. Is there a way to trasfur all the registry stuff to my new partiton? I would make my life a lot easier to just do that insted of registering every program I have 1 by one.

It would be nice to be able to backup your xp registry and then add it to the 2k3 partition but, your looking for some serious trouble adding one system reg to another. I think it's best and safer for your operating system if you just add your programs and register them one by one. It's a pain but, it's better than have a messed up OS that you have to rebuild anyway.

PowerQuest MagicMover (?) may do the trick; just don't know how it works for 2k3...

Try making another XP drive, moving all the programs, then upgrading to 2k3?
