tmpg problem

ive been using tmpg plus for some time now,mostly encoding svcd to dvd,an excellent program.that is until 2 days ago when i suddenly got this.Warning nothing to output bframe decoder lag.i have had nothing but problems since ie audio out of sync,sometimes no audio at all.
Tried reinstall to no avail,still waiting for email from proggy makers pegasys who are not exactly in a rush.bottom line is can anybody advise me on putting this right.any replies very welcome.

You got that with an SVCD as input?? Can't be right... only time you should get that is with an XviD encode that doesn't use packed bitstream. It is purely due to the limitations of the VFW interface. Two options, trim the first frame or use the dshow decoder. Guess a SVCD that was encoded from an XviD source would could have it but then you have DVD-->XviD-->SVCD-->DVD.

thank you for the reply celtic druid,never come across this before,anyway just trimmed the frame off,did at first just try burning the svcd to dvd disc to see if it would play merely out of curiosity.but it not play so had to encode to dvd.anyway thanks again at least i know its an xvid if i get the warning again.
