I am sure this ? has been asked a thousand times but i havent found it yet. What software do i need and is the best and easiest for backing up dvds. From my understanding i need a ripper, compression, and burning software. Is that the jest of it. Also you dell users, i just bought a dell. It should be here in about a week, its says it has dvd decoding software(cyberlin). Is that something i need to use. What is it for? Thanks.

Cyberlink software (Powerdvd) is used so you can view your DVD's..Also note the DVDShring has been updated to v3.176 ot there about.. Hope that this will aid you in getting you DVD'S backed up.
