Which one is "THE ONE?"
I downloaded and ran the file, and it tells me Everything is properly installed. However,(there's always a "however") When I run the aspichk.exe that came with the Adaptec aspi package I previously downloaded (for XP) the part on the bottom that says "Aspi is properly installed and fully operational" is greyed out. When I downloaded the Aspichk.exe from this site, it is NOT greyed out (which is wonderful)BUT, on the upper right hand corner it says "Windows NT" it is also Adaptec, but I'm confused! I'm running Windows XP (which I realize utilizes the NT kernel) Which one can I rely on to tell me what the correct information is? The Aspichk.exe file I downloaded from this site is version 1.0.0.6 and the version I got from Adaptec is 2.0.0.0 does any of this mean anything? shall I leave it alone? (I currently am running 4.60)
