yep..4.60/1021...i use them with xp too !
I had some probs with the 4.7x aspi layer, gone back to 4.60 and all is fine again ;)

Not good when it says the stuff is not installed correctly

the reason I am here is to get Clone CD to work again. God knows what I installed to make it fail.

You have to uninstall your version of aspi first,to have a "clean" 4.60(1021) version..........Use killaspi.bat from the forceaspi package and reboot, before you use instaspi.bat......just doubleclick the files to execute them...

OK woody the "check no longer shows the errors

Thanks.

For the record I did download the latest ASPI drivers from adaptec. That was the original log showing the errors.

Nice thread...I wish I would have had this info about 6 months ago when I was figuring out the aspi issue.

Forceaspi worked the best for me, running 4.60 now:D

Check this one out for your reading pleasure:D

Good links to other sources there too...!

Tis true, a bug fest indeed m8. :D

But if using Force ASPI, which you should really, remember to do what Roady said using the "KillASPI" command before installing the 4.60 drivers.
