I found thid pretty neat Telnet tool - beats the one you get with windows anyday.

Its a standalone executable.

Dunno if this is what you're looking for, but this blokes free stuff is legendary. The one I think you may be after is EasyComm

thanks Phil K. I'll check it out. Right now I've been using ActivePager v1.1 It works great & has a nice gui interface.
If anyone requests it, I can upload it with a patch. Can't find a patch for v1.2 yet though.
