System Restore

I have had a script executed on my system (winxp sp2) that denies me the access to the System restore function.
I wonder if there is a way to override this so I can roll back the system to before the attack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

System restore rarely works... your "script" must be some tweaking program which has disabled system restore (IMHO a fair choice).
Suggesting shedding a few bucks and buying Acronis True Image for backup/restore operations.

Definately an attack

Definately an outside attack, also displays a dialog box indicating a script was run to dissalow the usage of system restore.
