svcd problem :(

ripped and converted 2 movies with dvd2svcd
problem they play on the computer but not on the dvd player
cant work out what has gone wrong.

Okay bit more data please, what version of DVD2SVCD did you use and was it with CCE or TMPGenc? Did you produce MPG files or Cue/Bin and what program did you burn then to CDR with? Have you changed the bitrate settings and are they VBR or CBR encoded?

multi pass vbr 3 pass

Okay so basically following my tut. Have you changed brand of CDR your burning to? Try a different cdr as many brands change their supplier all the time and you may not be aware of that. Lower your burn speed and try them in someone elses DVD Player.

Also, I would suggest you make a CDImage (cue/bin files) instead of an MPG file and burn these out with VCDEasy. Nero has to many problems with SVCD. great for VCD, but lousy with SVCD.
